We are celebrating St Patrick's Day in school today. We've all put lots of work into our outfits today. Have a flick through the photos, we think you'll be very impressed!
We're looking forward to our parade in the afternoon, stay tuned for more photos.
St Brigid's will reopen tomorrow (Monday 5th March) as usual.
Regretfully, due to the rapid deterioration of the weather, which has affected now more than 50% of the course, with special regard for participant safety, the Parent’s and Friends of St Brigid’s Special School, Dundalk have made the final decision to POSTPONE the Half Marathon & 10K event planned for Saturday, March 3rd, to a later date of Saturday, March 10th 2018, due to the course being impassable due to large drifts of snow.
All registered participants are automatically entered to the 10th March Event, and no further action is required by participants.
All final information regarding start times for events, transfer procedures, and event refunds remains the same, and updated information with new dates will be communicated to all registered applicants in due course.
All volunteers will be contacted with information for 10th March as soon as possible. Thank you all for your help.
St Brigid's School is closed under guidance from the Department of Education on Wednesday 28th February, Thursday 1st March and Friday 2nd March due to heavy snowfall.

Stay warm and safe!
This is a picture of me at the Credit Union Art competition Awards ceremony in Croke Park. Over 30,000 entries were entered in to this years competition and the competition is in its 34th year. I went to the awards ceremony on Sunday the 11th of February with my family. I got to meet Marty Whelan and he presented me with my certificate and my cash prize. After I was presented with my prize I got some photos taken with the President of the League of Credit Unions and Marty Whelan. I have won a prize in the Credit Union Art Competition for 4 years in a row. In Rathlin I came 3rd, in Inisbofin I came 2nd, in Gola I came 1st and also came first in the the Second level and this year I came merit in the National level. I enjoyed my time in Croke Park.
