On Thursday we walked to Dunnes and followed our shopping lists to buy the ingredients we’d need for our Home Economics lesson on Friday.
In Home Economics this week we followed our visual instructions to gather the equipment and ingredients we would need to make mini quiches.
Student’s worked together to grate cheese, crack eggs, whisk eggs, place ham slices into muffin trays, pour in egg mix, add grated cheese and place carefully into the oven. While our quiches cooked in the ovens every student helped with the wash up and tidy of Home economics room.
Home work was set for students to help their parents make mini quiches at home for the whole family.
We have had some wonderful photos sent into class showing students and parents working together.
Again this lesson covered so many of our PLU’s.
