Shopping

In class we talked about what we are planning to make this week in home economics. We made up a shopping list and walked down to Dunnes stores. We were all very careful crossing the road and walking safely as a group.
Once inside the shop we used our shopping lists and the signs in the shop to locate all the ingredients we need.
At the till we queued up and waited our turn, then we exchanged money for the food we bought. On the walk back to school we noticed lots of sounds – dogs barking, birds singing and we also saw a flock of seagulls. We are looking forward to making our jam sandwiches tomorrow.
